The Super Terrific Awesome Writing Experience
I'm genuinely excited to share this with you.
This is an invitation to commit to something fun with minimal investment to get clear about what you actually want.
That's not a small thing. Most people won't do it.
But you're considering it.
And I'm expecting magical things to happen when you do.
WHAT YOU'LL GET
Here's what you'll experience:
You're going to write a narrative. A full story of your ideal day, your ideal job, your ideal relationship, or your ideal business.
Whatever feels most important to you right now.
Not bullet points.
Not a wish list.
A narrative.
You'll get specific about the details. The feelings. The why behind what you want.
And here's what I'll do:
In seven days, I'll check in with you to see how it's going. Not to shame you if you haven't finished, but to encourage you if you need it.
30 days from now, I'll check in again. To hear what showed up. To celebrate the magic with you.
Because when people do this exercise, things shift.
J'S STORY
Let me tell you about J.
J's been working with the same company for years. Great person. Really skilled at operations and project management.
A few weeks ago, he did this exercise. He wrote out his ideal job narrative.
He got clear on what he actually wanted:
- A W-2 position with security
- A collaborative environment, not cutthroat
- A place where he could train people and optimize systems
- Work that let him use his natural strengths
Then he had a conversation with a potential employer looking for an operations person.
And here's what J told me after that conversation:
"I felt complete congruence between how I presented myself and who I am."
He said there was no anxiety afterward. No second-guessing. No replaying the conversation wondering if he said the wrong thing.
In the past, he'd been trying to sell himself. Trying to convince them he was worth hiring.
This time?
He was just presenting who he was. And letting them decide if it was a fit.
He used language from his clarity work to describe his strengths. How he trains people. How he's sensitive to team needs. How he optimizes without micromanaging.
And he wasn't desperate. He wasn't grasping.
He was standing confidently in his work. In his value.
Whether this particular job works out or not, something shifted for J.
He's approaching the job market differently now.
That's what this exercise does.
It doesn't just help you write a narrative. It changes how you show up.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
So how will you know this worked?
You'll get clear.
- You'll stop chasing things that don't actually matter to you. You'll know what you want and why you want it.
You'll recognize when you're already in it.
- You might realize you're already living parts of your ideal day. Or you'll see opportunities you've been missing.
You'll feel more confident.
- Like J. When you know what you want, you stop apologizing for it. You stop trying to twist yourself into someone else's idea of success.
And things will shift.
I can't tell you exactly how. But they will.
Maybe an opportunity shows up. Maybe a conversation goes differently. Maybe you finally make a decision you've been avoiding.
I'm expecting it. And I'll be here to celebrate it with you.
THE ASSIGNMENT
Here's what you'll do:
Write your ideal [day/job/relationship/business] narrative.
Start with: "I wake up..." or "My workday begins..." or "In my ideal relationship..."
And write the full story. Beginning to end.
Get into the details. The feelings. The why.
You'll have seven days.
But don't wait. Do it this week while you're energized by making this commitment.
HOW TO GET IT DONE
Let me give you some practical suggestions for actually completing the invitation:
First: Schedule it.
- Block out 90 minutes to two hours in the next seven days. Put it on your calendar like it's a meeting you can't miss.
Second: Find a quiet place.
- Not your office where you're checking email every five minutes. Somewhere you can think without interruption.
Third: Start with the feeling.
- Don't start with logistics. Start with how you want to feel in your ideal day, your ideal job, your ideal relationship. Do you want to feel energized? Calm? Connected? Purposeful?vThat feeling is the compass. The details follow.
Fourth: Get specific about the simple things.
- Not "I'd be wildly successful." But "I'd spend two hours working on something I care about and feel energized by it."
- Not "I'd have the perfect relationship." But "I'd have breakfast with someone I love and we'd laugh about something small."
- The specifics matter. They're what make it real.
Fifth: Write it like it's already happening.
- Not "I hope to" or "I'd like to."
- Write it in present tense. "I wake up at..." "I'm working with..." "I feel..."
- This isn't just creative writing. You're tapping into the energy of already having it.
ONE MORE THING
When you finish your narrative, send it to me. Just hit reply to any of my emails.
I want to read it.
Not to judge it. Not to grade it.
But to witness it. To celebrate that you did it.
And 30 days from now, I want to hear what happened. What shifted. What magic showed up.
Because I'm not hoping it happens.
I'm expecting it.
When you commit to getting clear about what you actually want, life can't help but respond to that.
READY?
Investment: $67

When you invest $67, you'll actually do it.
You won't let it sit in your inbox. You won't tell yourself you'll get to it later.
You'll write your narrative. You'll get clear. And you'll start living more of it.
