unique story

What’s your unique story?

When I talk with entrepreneurs, or work with them in a one-hour initial consult, one of the major gaps in their business is distinction.  We’ve all heard the term, “USP (Unique Selling Proposition)”.  It’s a basic requirement to have on in order to succeed in a marketplace.

But let’s try something else on for size.

What if I asked you for your unique story?

Everyone has a story.  For those of you that have been with me for some time, you’ve seen my story play out in front of your eyes.  It’s one of the things that allows me to stand out as a coach in a crowd of coaches.  My experiences with clients in 50 niches sets me apart.  My diverse client base and successes and failures set me apart.  All these facets of my personal life, business career, and unique gifts make up my story and it’s what allows me to stand out in a crowded marketplace.

So many people are forcing connection with listing a bunch of credentials, spelling out a bunch of reasons why you are the best, and basically trying to win a debate or popularity contest to attract new clients and customers.

Let me ask you to change that paradigm and think about telling your story.  Maybe you have a list of credentials, maybe you have a great herd of satisfied customers, but do you have a story that connects your clients to you?   I can guarantee you that all your credentials and your tremendous products and services will carry even more weight when you can craft your story and tell it loudly.

If you are having trouble standing out in your marketplace, or are stuck figuring out your unique story, I invite you to check into spending an hour with me.  Let’s see what we can discover about your unique story that the world needs to know!
